About

We created Meatlessly.com during the 2011 Farmbill Hack.  We set out to create a simple interface to promote Meatless Monday by allowing people to find, share and submit recipes, places, and feedback about their progress.

Currently, the site displays Meatlessly.com users' tweets about Meatless Monday and related health and policy goals.  Future features include:

  • Processing user participation from additional sources (Facebook, email, etc.)
  • Providing feedback in the form of impact visualizations and recommended reading based on the shared item
  • Location-based restaurant and menu suggestions using resources such as Clean Plates
  • Recipe suggestions
  • Notifications and reminders

Thanks to the sponsors and organizers for putting together this event, and be sure to check out the event wiki for more info.
